The Paris Marathon
The 32nd Paris Marathon will be held on Sunday, April 6, setting off at 8:45 a.m. from the Avenue des Champs Elysées. Ranked among the world's five leading marathons, the Paris Marathon welcomes some 35 000 runners covering 42.195 kilometres along a route taking in some of the capital's finest districts, from Avenue Foch to the Bastille, including the Tuileries. For all foot race enthusiasts, the Course du Petit Déjeuner (breakfast race) will set off on April 5 at 8:30 a.m. This morning event includes families, friends, supporters or experienced sportsmen and women from all over the world, who take part in a 5.2 kilometre race through the streets of Paris. Art Paris -The Modern Art Fair
Don't miss one of the European art scene's leading events. The famous “Artparis” modern art fair will be held at the Grand Palais from April 3-7. For this 10th event, Grand Palais will be welcoming around a hundred French and foreign galleries, all particularly dynamic and representative of the modern and contemporary international art market, in addition to a themed exhibition specially devoted to well-known and emerging artists from the Arab world.

Fame
The legendary musical Fame has enjoyed success all around the world and arrives in Paris on March 28 with a new, entirely French production. This is the story of sixteen youngsters who learn to sing, dance and act in a school of performing arts in New York. Le Printemps de Bourges (Springtime in Bourges)
The Printemps de Bourges festival brings you the great names of the contemporary music scene between April 15 and 20. A hundred thousand spectators flock into the town to sample the outstanding acts presented on the open-air stages and the concert venues. Come along and discover or rediscover the artists presented here each day from midday through to dawn, with electronic music sets, experimental sound effects not forgetting exhibitions, dance and theatre.

The Nantes Fair
Featuring decoration, arts and crafts from around the world, gastronomy, health products, ingenious inventions, photography, design, shopping areas, gardening, not forgetting DIY, swimming pools, open-air activities and an agricultural area.
