This is in the heart of the Quartier Latin that the oldest Parisian hotel will welcome you in a renowned area at the city, full of history, fashion boutiques, restaurants and art galleries.
In spite of its location in a very animated area, the hotel is very calm. The Boulevard Saint Michel (only 100 metres, or 110 yards away), the Sorbonne University (350 metres, or 400 yards away) and the French Pantheon (400 metres, or 450 yards away) are all within walking distance.
You will be able to reach the Jardin du Luxembourg (only 120 metres, or 150 yards, away from the hotel) and take a stroll in its shaded alleys and then discover the Senat's facade. On your way to Notre-Dame Cathedral on the Ile de la Cité (only 15 minutes away from the hotel), you will certainly discover plenty of bucolic second-hand book seller on the banks of the Seine.
The train station Luxembourg (RER C) is only 180 metres (200 yards) away and the metro station Odéon (lines 4 an 10) is 750 metres away (820 yards). You will have access quite easily to the area of Saint-Germain-des-Prés (in 5 minute)s and to the area of Châtelet and the rue de Rivoli (in 9 minutes).
The hotel's building dates back from the 19th century and you will notice that the facade walls of dressed stones. In spite of this historic heritage, the hotel is very modern inside and fully equipped.
During the day, you can have a seat near the reception to drink a cup of tea or coffee and have a look a the beautiful mural, which decorates one of the wall of the lobby.
The room are especially spacious and the decoration is both modern and refined and some of them also have a lovely marble bathroom and a view of the Parisian roofs, the Jardin du Luxembourg and the Eiffel Tower.
After a long and deep repairing night, you will enjoy a continental breakfast served in the intimate atmosphere of the hotel's dining room and its exposed stone walls.
