The R. Kipling is a hotel of 9th arrondissement and benefits from an exceptional situation.
Indeed, the area of Pigalle is within walking distance (only 500 metres, or 550 yards, away) and so is the Butte Montmartre (located 1,2 kilometres, or 0,75 mile, away from the hotel), thus, in only a couple of minutes, you will find yourself in the middle of the Parisian artistic area.
In the evening, you will have the occasion to assist to a French-Cancan representation at the Moulin Rouge, to be found only 240 metres (300 yards) away, or to another representation at the Mogador theatre, located 900 metres (1000 yards) away. After a 18-minute walk, you will reach the area of the Opéra Garnier and the Grands Magasins (Printemps Haussmann and Galeries Lafayette).
Thanks to the metro station Blanche (line 2, located 270 metres, or 310 yards, away) and Place de Clichy (lines 2 and 13), you will be able to reach the Invalides in 12 minutes, the Arc de Triomphe in 15 minutes, and the Père Lachaise Cemetery in 21 minutes.
The colonial style of the hotel is very original and you will find a wonderful and atypical library on the ground floor, where you will be able to have a seat in one of the large and comfortable armchairs and relax with a good book and a drink.
The rooms and suites are elegantly decorated with oriental and ethnic furniture and photographs. They are all very comfortable and cosy, a safe haven where you will enjoy spending time before and after a long day in Paris.
To start your day, a buffet breakfast is served every morning in the hotel's dining-room with its walls of exposed stones.
