Frejus is a Mediterranean town founded by Julius Caesar. It contains many Roman vestiges such as arenas, theatre and amphitheatre, an aqueduct etc. Frejus has many superb sandy beaches where you can soak up the sun on the shores of the Mediterranean. In the local history museum, you will learn all about the history of Frejus. Every year in April, the city holds La Bravade, the feast of the patron saint, when young people in disguise armed with horns walk through the streets of the city.
