This little restaurant is known especially for its brunch -cold cuts,  brownies, fromage blanc, hot drinks… This delicious, copious brunch will give you a good start to the day!

They also serve tapas and gratins of the day.

You will enjoy your meal in a bright, colorful dining room. Take a seat on one of their comfortable cushions and wait for their friendly and welcoming staff to serve you.

Located in the middle of the Marais district, this restaurant brings streetfood and lobster together. They serve delicious lobster rolls.

But what is a lobster roll, you ask? It is an American sandwich made of a bun, lobster and mayonnaise… and Homer’s Lobsters are delicious!

In July 2018, they won the jury prize of the World Lobster Roll Championship, organized each year by the magazine DownEast in the United States thanks to their signature dish -candied lobster in lemon butter with secret herbs.

Price: 22 euros for a menu with a lobster roll, a side and a drink.

What we love: Everybody will find a lobster roll that suits them as they serve lobster, prawn and even crab rolls.

What we don’t like as much: It is a bit expensive for a sandwich.

Let yourself be tempted by their wonderful buckwheat crepes with Comté cheese, truffle ham and shitake (small Japanese mushrooms). If you fancy something a bit more exotic, try their buckwheat crepes with smoked salmon, ginger and sesame seeds.

Most of the ingredients they use come from Brittany, a region very famous for sweet and buckwheat crepes.

The very simple dining room will help you forget the old-fashioned decoration of traditional creperies with their checkered tablecloths.

What we love: You can eat your crêpes whilst enjoying the sun thanks to their superb terrace.

What we don’t like as much: There are only a few seats so do not forget to book a table if you go there on a weekend.

The Carrefour Café is a traditional Parisian café -it’s known sl a “rade de quartier” (a local bar). With its croque-monsieurs, its zinc counters and its very local customers, the Carrefour Café is an iconic place in the Marais district.

In this restaurant, you will find the last pinball machine in all of the district!  It talks to players with a ghost voice and makes fun of them. We are sure you will have a very fun moment there!

In Le Colimaçon, you will enjoy a bistronomic, authentic French cuisine. We love their French toasts with foie gras and their beef tournedos.

We admit it is a bit expensive but there is no lack in quality.

The stone walls and the beams give character to this charming restaurant. Take a look at the spiral staircase (“escalier en colimaçon” in French) at the back of the dining room. The restaurant was named after it.

If you love French, high quality cuisine, Le Colimaçon is the perfect place for you!

What we love: The traditional French cuisine which will please both tourists and locals.

What we don’t like as much: The restaurant is a bit small; do not forget to book a table.
