The Plaza Athénée is one of the most famous luxury hotels in Paris, built in 1909 and opened in 1913 on Avenue Montaigne.
Over the decades it has played host to Nazi dignitaries, American soldiers and film stars such as Marlene Dietrich and Jean Gabin.
After a few years of closure for modernization, it reopened in 1936.
The hotel, designed by the same architect as the Claridge, another 4-star hotel near the Champs-Élysées, offers exceptional facilities: an ice rink in winter, a Dior treatment institute founded in 2008, and a cocktail bar.
And for meals, there is a choice of five different restaurants, including a Michelin-starred one overseen by Jean Imbert!
