Room at Ritz

The Ritz has also 11 unique suites decorated in the style of many of the hotel’s great personalities and devotees, including F. Scott Fitzgerald, Mansart, Maria Callas, Gabrielle Chanel, and the founder of the hotel, Caesar Ritz.

The Coco Chanel suite exists because, in 1937, Gabrielle Chanel rented a suite at the Ritz, then stayed in it for 34 years! She brought in her favorite furniture and redesigned the interior as if it was her home.

Three of the last five suites pay homage to Versailles, the Place Vendôme, and the Opera Garnier. The final two are special suites: the Ritz Apartment and the Grand Jardin suite.
