At Mariage Frères, you will find a wide variety of tea. Not only will you be able to buy grand cru tea, but you will also be able to taste their fragrant compositions, their sweet treats, and you will also be able to buy one of their numerous high-quality teapots and cups.

In addition to shopping for tea, you are going to enjoy a unique experience: The Tea Club. There are three different Tea Club options: “Au coeur du thé” (an initiation to the tea fundamentals), “Composition parfumées” (an initiation to great teas), and “Terroirs d’excellence” (an initiation to the most prestigious grand cru teas). Those three options will last for 1h30 and cost €65, which is still quite affordable given the activities and samplings offered in the Tea Club.

Not only do the teas come from their country of origin, but they also sell grand cru teas called “Pu Erh”, a well-renowned variety of tea. However, the prices are very high and the whole experience can take quite a while, be warned.

Each week, a tea or infusion is offered for you to taste freely, in order for you to discover new flavours. You are guaranteed to be welcomed kindly by attentive sale assistants that give good advice. If you do not know anything about tea but still have a bit of an idea of what you are looking for, the sellers will gladly create a selection of teas just for you and invite you to smell them while explaining their composition. For high-quality teas, the prices are affordable. The added bonus? A loyalty card giving you 10% off the entire shop once you have spent €80 there.

    This shop, created in 1692, offers more than 200 varieties of teas, plain or with a fragrant, as much for the experts as it is for beginners. This important tea company was notably the first to invent fragrant tea as well as the nylon tea bags in which teas are sold worldwide now. This company never stops renewing and there are about 15 new flavours of tea being created every year, no less!
