Founded in 2009, the Wasabi School is the oldest sushi school in France and offers a series of 3 classes for beginners of 2 hours each.
First you need to go over all the basics (absolutely necessary for the next classes), then you will learn about maki preparation and finally, sushi-nigiri.

She too is from Osaka and had settled down in Montmartre in 1997. She was one of the first to ever organize Japanese cooking workshops to introduce her culture to France.
If you wish to be taught about the art of Japanese cuisine or just prepare delicious onigiri, shiramata or dango, you’ll like Tomoko’s workshops.
Tomoko studied literature and will absolutely love sharing her traditions and the history of her cuisine in the muted and relaxed atmosphere of her workshop.

After a short historical introduction, it’s time to join in. Measuring the right amount of sticky rice flour, kneading the paste, shaping the dessert filled with ice-cream: you have to earn the mochi!

What’s unique with them is that the workshops are often dedicated to the preparation of an entire menu.
