Whether you don’t have a lot of time for your lunch break, a lot of visits on your to-do list or a limited budget, there are several reasons why you would eat in a fast-food restaurant. Fortunately, your choices are now more varied than ever. There are multiple chains of restaurants, as well as independent fast-foods. Here is a list of Paris fast-food restaurants.

 

McDonald’s

Obviously, McDonald’s is a classic. It’s one of the most popular fast-food chains in the world. They mostly serve burgers and fries. There are about 30 different types of sandwiches and you can have some with beef, chicken and even fish.

 

Quick

Quick used to be McDonald’s greatest competitor in France and some other European countries. Quick now belongs to Burger King and they are replacing Quick restaurants with Burger Kings. Like McDonalds, they mostly serve burgers and fries. They have very different sandwiches, but not as many as their rival.

 

Burger King

After a failed first try, Burger King is back in France. Their popularity quickly increased these past few years. Because they bought Quick, they were able to settle rapidly in many French cities. They also serve burgers, but they call them “Whoppers”.

 

KFC – Kentucky Fried Chicken

KFC is a fast-food restaurant, specialized in fried chicken. It can be served in a bucket, as well as in a sandwich or in a tortilla. You can get your chicken with a side of fries or corn on the cob.

 

Subway

Subway serves hot sandwiches that you get to compose yourself. There are six types of bread and you choose the toppings. First you choose a type of meat (or a vegetarian option), you can add cheese or not. The sandwich is then toasted, then you pick your vegetables and your sauce.

 

Five Guys

Five Guys is one of the newest fast-food chains in France. It owes its popularity to Barack Obama who said it was his favorite fast-food. They serve burgers and other sandwiches. Their fries are cooked in peanut oil, which gives them a particular taste. They also have milkshakes that you can compose yourself.

 

Big Fernand

Big Fernand is a French adaptation of the classic fast-food. The burgers are called “hamburgés” and are made with French cheese (Savoie Tomme, raclette, morbier etc…). You can also choose the ingredients of your “hamburgé” and make your own.

 

O’Tacos

O’Tacos is a French fast-food chain where you can make your own “taco” (technically a burrito). First, you choose a size, one, two or three different meats among seven options, the sauce and the toppings. “Tacos” are made with a tortilla and have fries inside.

 

Mezzo Di Pasta

Despite an Italian name, Mezzo Di Pasta is French. They serve fresh pastas both traditional and stuffed, with the sauce and cheese of your choice.

Factory & Co is a New-York inspired restaurant. They serve burgers, bagels, and salads. It’s one of the first restaurants that served fries with melted cheese. Mister Garden
