Lodges
You can rent magnificent and luxurious lodges in Paris in lots of places. For example, you have multiple lodges in Bois de Boulogne park, and some of them can host more than 1,000 people. Here is a list of some of them:
- Pavillon des Princes: this beautiful lodge has a huge reception capacity with its big reception hall measuring 700m², which can seat 400 people or host 700 people during a cocktail reception, for example.
- Pavillon Royal: With its 800m² terraces, its 400m² kitchen and its 3 distinct areas that you can switch between 100 and 450m², this lodge is stunning and perfect for big events. You will find well-known chefs at this lodge: Philippe Joannès, David Faure, and Takayuki Kamiya. It can accommodate up to 1,100 guests, which is a very impressive capacity. You can rent the place without the involvement of the chefs, but in any event you must use catering services. Prices of the menus can vary between €175 and €195 per person. They prepare refined meals that can also be adjusted with regard to specific dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, allergies, etc.)
- Pavillon des Étangs (website in French): If you are looking for something more authentic, the Pavillon des Étangs will suit you best. It can accommodate up to 600 people with its 3 different areas.
- Pavillon d’Armenonville: This one is really big, with its 6 rooms spreading over 3 floors. Actually, the biggest room can accommodate up to 1,200 guests. You can also access a 208 m² terrace, which is quite something. You will have the chance to find one of the most famous caterers at your service, Butard Enescot, who will compose incredible dishes for your event.
- Pavillon Dauphine Saint Clair: The lodge’s setting is much more modern, with an Art Déco style and 900m² reception areas with 5 distinct rooms that you can easily alter. It also has air conditioning and it’s also equipped with the latest technologies (wifi, video projector, etc.). Saint Clair caters for you itself with its unique chefs Christophe Larrat and Lionel Lallement. You will taste real works of art thanks to their expertise. You should be aware that it is mandatory to use this caterer, so you cannot use other companies; but if you wish, you can also rent a room without any catering services.
Barges
In both winter and summer, barges are an excellent way to spend a wonderful evening on the Seine river as you cross Paris by water. It is always a magical moment, especially at night, to see Paris on a barge with all its lights on. They are usually better for smaller groups.
Here, for example, is a barge called Le Grand Bleu, which offers two boats: Le Grand Bleu and Le Diamant Bleu. The first one can accommodate up to 120 people in seats and 150 people during cocktail evenings. The caterer provided on this barge is Class’Reception which has more than 25 years of experience in the field. The second barge is much larger, with a reception hall and a terrace of 450 m² each, allowing you to enjoy a ride on the Seine during one of your events.
La Belle Vallée (website in French), is another style of barge, a more wooden style like in the 20s, will be able to accommodate up to 250 guests. Thanks to its parquet flooring and woodwork, it offers a warmer and more classic setting.
For smaller receptions, we recommend a barge in the style of the Albatros (website in French). In a more intimate atmosphere, this boat can accommodate 40 guests for a meal and 70 for a cocktail reception. Offering a covered area, it also offers a terrace that you can enjoy during summertime.
Buses
Are you looking for something original for a very small committee reception? Then there’s nothing better than a bus! And yes, you will find several of them with quite a variety of styles. These buses can generally accommodate between 30 and 50 passengers. Often staffed by a DJ and a caterer, it is the perfect opportunity to enjoy an evening or an event in an unusual place such as this one.
PartyBus (website in French), for example, offers 1 to 5-hour tours depending on the formula you chose. In general, it can only accommodate up to 30 people. You can organize a birthday party, a wedding, a corporate event or any other event.
However, for something more customized, you can also contact Stan & Walter (website in French) which even offers many team-building activities such as graffiti work on the bus itself – using templates or with the guidance of a specialist in the field!
Terraces
In summer with wonderful weather, there is nothing better than a terrace to enjoy the mild nights at a party. So we have found some very nice terraces for you to organize cocktail receptions, weddings, or why not seminars.
First of all, you will find the Summer Terrace in the center of the 4* hotel The Westin Paris-Vendôme. It is a magnificent place that can be enjoyed in summer, but also in winter, thanks to its Winter Terrace. In the center of this terrace you have the sensation of being in a haven of serenity.
Then, for something more sophisticated, the Hôtel du Collectionneur’s summer terrace offers 800 m² of space and can accommodate up to 200 guests for a private cocktail. Usable for both conferences and congresses, it is the ideal place for corporate events too.
The RODIN Museum Sculpture Garden, which is located in the 7th district of Paris, is an exceptional venue which is perfect for a gala, a cocktail reception or an exhibition. By day or by night, it is possible to privatize this garden for your event.
Bars and Restaurants
For more modest budgets, we recommend a few bars or restaurants that offer to privatize their premises. Among them we find the Coin-Op Table (website in French) which allows you to organize events such as cocktail dinners or meals in a very friendly atmosphere, and with the opportunity to rediscover retro arcade games – ideal for vintage fans.
For a retro-chic and rather masculine atmosphere, you also have the possibility to privatize the Barbershop (website in French) in the 2nd district. Have you ever found anything more original than that? With 200 m² over three levels, it offers you its dedicated team to organize your events.
Free of charge, it is possible to book a cellar in the basement at La Panthère Ose (website in French) or the whole establishment. It is an atmospheric bar with a very subdued atmosphere, that can accommodate up to 200 people.
And for a more “cosy” atmosphere, in the restaurant Chez Vous, you can book a few tables or the whole establishment (but if you choose the latter, in order to be able to privatize the whole establishment, you have to spend between €2,500 and 4,000 in the bar/restaurant depending on the day that you organize your event).
