Since 1993, Paris à Vélo has specialized in cycling holidays. The shop has more than 150 bikes for rent. There is something for everyone.
Price: For half a day, a city bike costs €13 and an electric bike €33.
For an entire day, a city bike costs €16 and an electric bike 40.
Renting accessories such as baby or child seats, baskets, bags and helmets cost between €2 and €3. All bikes have U bike locks.

Paris Bike Tour offers rental bike services for you to go on the many bicycle paths of the city. Do not hesitate to ask for a bicycle path map, they will kindly provide it to you.
Its bikes are relatively new and light models so that you can properly enjoy your ride. You can visit the city by bike with a guide. Choose one of the three offered bike tours. Each one lasts 3 hours and costs €36 per adult. The price includes the bike and its insurance, the guide and the accessories (basket and helmet).
Commentaries are available in French, English and German. Tourists are welcomed.
Price: For half a day, it costs €12 to rent a city bike, €20 for an electric one and €1 per accessory.
For an entire day (8 hours), it costs €15 for a city bike and €30 for an electric one. Renting accessories does not cost anything, except for child seats which are €5 per day.
On the weekend, you have to pay an extra €1 on all prices.

Vélo Paris
Kind of bikes: city bikes for men and women, electric bikes, mountain bikes
Vélo Paris sells second-hand bikes, offers rental bike services and has a repair shop for basic checks or big repairs.
You can also benefit from a guide which will be ready to make you visit Paris and bring you some anecdotes concerning the town. The guided tour costs €35 per adult for a tour with a mountain or city bike. The price includes the guide, the accessories you need for your bike and a free beverage at the beginning of the tour and another one at the end.
Price: For half a day, renting a city bike costs €10 and €15 for an electric one.
For an entire day (from 9 a.m to 6 p.m), it costs €15 for a city bike and €20 for an electric bike.
You can rent a bike for 24 hours or even a week if that is what you want.
Please note that the shop is located in Montmartre which is a great visit, but it is quite far from the other landmarks (the Latin Quarter is 5 kilometers away and the Eiffel tower is 8 kilometers away).

Allo Velo rents out bikes and also has a repair service. Choose one bike among the 200 available and get some fresh air in the capital. You can also buy new or second-hand bikes in their shop.
Price: For an entire day, a city bike costs €20 (€15 per additional day) and an electric bike costs €65 (€40 per additional day).
You can rent a bike for a week of 5 or 7 days (€80 for regular bikes and €225 for electric ones) or even for a whole year (only a few models, see their website).
Helmet and bike lock are included in the price.

Since they started in 1997, Freescoot has been one of the very first companies to rent Vespa (moped) in Paris. The company now rents mopeds and bicycles in a vintage and welcoming human-scale shop. Vehicles come firstly from European manufacturers.
They also have a repair corner if you have any problem and they sell new and second-hand bikes and accessories such as helmets, seats, lights, bike locks, etc.
Tourists are welcomed as the staff speaks English.
Price: For half a day (4 hours), a city bike costs €16 and an electric bike costs €25.
For an entire day (24 hours), a city bike costs €20 and an electric one €40.
You need to show your ID and be more than 18 years old to rent a bike.
You can rent a bike for an entire month.
The price includes the bike, a helmet, a bike lock, a basket and a windcheater. Child seats can be borrowed at your request.

Holland Bikes
Kind of bikes: traditional Dutch city bikes, electric bikes, cargo bikes
Holland Bikes is specialized in Dutch and electric bikes and wants to develop this lifestyle in France. You can buy or just rent a bike.
Price: For half a day, a regular Dutch bike costs €17 and an electric one costs €30.
For an entire day, a regular Dutch bike costs €19 and an electric one costs €35.
If the bike is stolen, you will have to reimburse it (€700 for a regular bike and €2,000 for an electric one). I advise you to pay an insurance that reduces those amounts by 50%. The insurance is only €4 per day for a Dutch bike and €8 for an electric bike.

Cyclo Café has a giant bike for 15 people. Each person pedals but the bike remains guided by the company’s driver.
It is an original concept that allows fun moments in family or with friends since you can only rent this as a group. A table with cup holders separates the bicycle in two. You can eat and drink aperitifs there if you want (an extra €5).
Several itineraries are possible for this bike ramble. It can last one to two hours.
Terms: Booking is compulsory and there should be at least 5 people in the group. (15 maximum)
Price: For a two-hour ride (10 kilometers), the price starts at €25 per person. The price includes the itinerary (among 4 different ones), photos, pedaling stats and the driver.
For a one-hour-and-a-half ride (7.5 kilometers), the price starts at €18 per person and includes photos, the driver and the itinerary (among two different ones).
For an hour ride (5 kilometers), the price starts at €14 per person and includes the driver and the itinerary (only one possible).
The ride is free for people under 12 years old (at least one adult is compulsory) and prices are reduced for people between 12 and 18 (half price).

Swapfiets is a shop chain that offers rental bike services for the month for regular bikes and electric ones.
With one shop in Paris, Swapfiets is known for its customization service. The bike is tested and adapted to your needs: the seat and wheels are adjusted, accessories are added such as a basket or child seat, etc.
Tourists are welcomed as the staff speaks English.
Price: Starts at €12.90 per month for “l’Original” (city bike, backpedal possible, handbrake, LED light and bike lock).
Starts at €49.90 per month for the “Power 1” (electric bike with an autonomy of 100 kilometers, that can reach 25 km/h and which fully recharges in 4 hours).
There are registration fees to pay for a monthly subscription without engagement (€19.50 for Power 1 and €16.50 for l’Original).
You can get insurance in case you lose the bike or the keys (starts at €15).
If the bike needs any repair or has been stolen, do not worry because the insurance is already included in the price. In case of theft, your responsibility is minimized.
