The Ile de Loisirs du Val de Seine located in Verneuil-sur-Seine is a swimming area, overseen by lifeguards from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, which the young and the old will both like.
This place will allow you to get a change of air thanks to exceptional water and natural settings, which makes it remarkably beautiful. Besides swimming, you can also participate in other activities such as cycling or rollerblading around the lake, there are also children’s games and a horse riding center next door.
Swimming is possible on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from May 1st to June 30th and every day from July 1st to September 5th, 2021. It is better to come during the week because the weekends are more crowded.
Hours: 7AM to 9 PM.

This family outdoor activities center, quite far from Paris, will provide you tranquility for the whole day. As it is located in a natural site where all kinds of activities are available for children, you will definitely love it.
If you come looking for peace, you will be delighted with this supervised beach and the few water jets for the younger ones. For the older ones, a bathe in the river is very pleasant and the sandy beach is excellent for sunbathing.
Swimming here is very nice thanks to the quality of its water; the base was labeled “Blue Flag” from 2003 to 2018 (except in 2010).
Different activities are offered to visitors such as canoeing, diving or fishing.

The Bassin de la Villette is located in Paris itself. It is made up of four ponds on either side of the lifting bridge of the rue de Crimée. To ensure good water quality, the swimming area is limited to 800 people per day.
This swimming area is organized on a floating structure 16 meters wide by 100 meters long separated into 3 different pools supervised by lifeguards: two paddling pools for children and a large pool for swimmers.
It is a great place to cool off outside under the Paris summer sun. This summer atmosphere is very nice and will give you an air of vacation while being in Paris.
