 Roland Garros
The Roland Garros tournament is a not-to-be-missed event for countless tennis enthusiasts. This year, the competition is being held from May 25 to June 8. The best players on the tennis circuit will be there including Roger Federer, Rafael Nafal, Richard Gasquet and Ammélie Mauresmo as they battle it out for the crown of the world’s best clay court player, a unique surface which has been the downfall of countless champions.

 Le Paris Jazz Festival
From june the 7th to july the 27th, visitors can take part in debates and discussions, visit a photo exhibition or find out about the latest artists, concerts and recordings from the modern jazz scene. Audience members are invited to kick back and relax on the Vallée des Fleurs lawns while listening to some of the best live jazz around.

 Foire Saint-Germain
From May 23 to July 6, the Saint-Germain Fair will be held in Place Saint-Sulpice offering the perfect place to meet interesting people and to discover something new. Just like each year, it will be proposing its traditional antiques fair, the poetry market, the book collectors’ market, the “Ceramics days” and the theatre fair, not to mention a wealth of varied entertainment features and activities throughout the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district.

Nuits de feu : "L'Artifice, peinture du ciel"
This year, the traditional “Nuits de Feu” event (Fire Nights) at the Château de Chantilly will be proposing three unforgettable evenings in keeping with those once organised by the Princes of Condé. More than 200 years after the first event of this kind, this magical and spectacular firework show today attracts more than 150,000 spectators. The principle behind the Nuits de Feu is a simple one: the firework technicians have 14 minutes to capture the hearts and imaginations of the audience with their pyrotechnic performances based on a set theme and musical accompaniment. This year, they’ll be battling it out to the theme of “Fireworks...painting the sky”.
