 Beaujolais Nouveau November 20th
On November 20th, France will be celebrating the arrival of this
year's Beaujolais Nouveau, which is always an occasion to enjoy good
wine in good company, among friends in the cafes and bistros. To
appreciate this wine in the time honoured manner, you really need to
head for Burgundy, the French wine capital, so famous for its Côte de Chablis vineyards and its Morvan Regional Nature Park.

 Bonaparte and Egypt From November 14th at the Arab World Institute The Arab World Institute shows Napoleon during the famous Egyptian campaign from 1798 to 1801 and the 19th century, untill the inauguration of the Suez canal in 1869. This exhibition studies relationships between France and Egypt during this period of history.  Paris photo Novembre 13th - 16th au Carrousel du Louvre Since it first began, Paris Photo has won recognition as the world's premier fair for still photography. The 2008 edition brings together some one hundred galleries and publishers from around the world.

 L’Esprit Mingei au Japon From septembre 30th at Musée du Quai Branly
The exhibit causes one to reflect on the relationship, established during the 20th century, between the rediscovery of certain traditional arts and international modern art through design.  St’art Novembre 20th - 24th The 13th Strasbourg Contemporary Art Fair, will be taking place at the Wacken Exhibition Centre. 2008 is the year of Central and Eastern Europe. It is a prime opportunity to highlight a rich cultural heritage and give an overview of the current creative trends in these countries. St-art is also the only French fair to welcome galleries from all regions in France.
