When in Valence, you can enjoy the pogne, a crown-shaped cake flavoured with orange blossom essence. In one of the streets you will come across a very strange house with a front decorated with many sculpted heads representing the Winds, Fortune, Time, Law and Medicine. That is the House of the Heads. The superb music pavilion in Valence is famous because it was immortalised by Raymond Peynet, who represented it in his "Lovers". Every year in June, Valence organises the Canal Festival. On that occasion, you can discover the natural heritage of the city through guided tours in boats.
