Dole shows all its charm in the typical streets of the old town, lined by houses dating from the 15th century. Dole is the city of the birth of the famous scientist Louis Pasteur. His birthplace is now a museum devoted to his life. The Museum of Fine Arts of Dole has sculptures, paintings, archaeological objects and contemporary art works.
