It is situated only 900 metres (1000 yards) away from the Père Lachaise Cemetery and 1 kilometre (1100 yards) away from the very animated area of the Place de la Bastille. The closest metro station is Voltaire (200 metres or 210 yards away), on the line 9 and it will give you access rapidly (18 minutes) to the Grands Magasins (department stores like the Galeries Lafayette or the Printemps Haussmann) and the Opera Garnier.
