Epernay is famous for its Champagne vineyards, particularly Moët and Chandon. The winery of that famous name is open to visitors. The other reputed cellars in Epernay are those of Castellane, recognisable by the high tower that decorates the building. The Butterfly Garden in Epernay offers the superb spectacle of hundreds of butterflies let loose in a garden with a tropical look to it. In the Champagne Museum, you will see all the work that goes into tending the vines, picking the grapes and labelling the wine!
