Lorient is a city in Britanny situated not far from the Atlantic coast. Every year in August, Lorient organises the Festival Interceltique during which all performers from around the Celtic world come together to make music and have fun. Keroman Base in Lorient was the largest German submarine base during the Second World War. Today, you can visit it to discover the history of the Battle of the Atlantic.
From the top of the base's roof, there is a superb view over the Rade de Lorient harbour.
