It was on this site in the 15th century that the Palais des Tournelles once stood. During the English occupation of Paris the 1st Duke of Bedford, an aesthete who loved poetry, art and illuminated manuscripts, extended the building as far as the city walls.
The original is long gone, yet it inspired the interior designers of 30 Rue de Turenne to create a cosy and elegant environment evoking the romantic past. This was then enhanced with tasteful contemporary decorative touches.
