Tourist Information
Located in the 12th district of Paris, the Gare de Lyon serves the entire Central-East/South-East region of France (TGVs, night trains, car trains). It is also an international station, with destinations in Switzerland and Italy. Gare de Lyon serves much of the region south of Paris as well with its Transilien train.
The Gare de Lyon is located on the Bastille-Nation axis. Many Metro (lines 1 and 14), RER, and bus lines serve the Gare de Lyon. The flow of traffic, along with the creation of many parking lots, has helped regulate the considerable activity around the Gare de Lyon.
A business district has emerged right next door, on both sides of the banks of the Seine, contributing to the attractiveness of the whole neighborhood. By crossing the Charles de Gaulle Bridge, one can access the Gare d'Austerlitz and the business area of the Avenue de France.
For this reason, this station is surrounded by many hotels of all categories in order to meet the incessant demand of French and international customers (for tourism or business travel).
France Hotel Guide offers you a choice of hotels near the Gare de Lyon: design hotels, boutique hotels, charming hotels and inexpensive hotels.
