Le Havre is the second largest sea port in France. The town is called the Ocean Gate because of the great gate that opens onto the sea at the end of Avenue Foch. The Andre Malraux Museum of Fine Arts of Le Havre has a superb collection of impressionist paintings. Discover the church of Saint Joseph, which has a gigantic well of light that is 110 metres high. Every evening, Le Havre lights up and its architectural monuments are clothed in light.
