The Bazaar Hôtel de Ville (BHV) is a large department store particularly well known for its home furnishings and home improvement supplies.
The BHV is located in the historic Marais ("Marsh") district opposite the majestic edifice of the Hôtel de Ville, the historic City Hall, and the perennially busy boulevard outside.
The BHV is located on the Rue de Rivoli, a well-traveled route heading towards the Place du Louvre and the Place de la Concorde. Behind the BHV, the Rue de la Verrerie and the neighboring streets (including the rue du Temple), there are additional sales floors that make this area particularly popular with visitors.
