In a neighbourhood once filled with Bercy wine warehouses, there is now the wonderful Saint-Emilion court, which has given its name to the Saint-Emilion district, following a recent redevelopment of the area near to the banks the Seine. There are wine bars, restaurants and very trendy shops, there is also a huge UGC cinema complex, which specializes in showing films in their original version.
The paved surroundings of Saint-Emilion Court play host to the Museum of Fairground Arts. Its healthy and charming ambience creates the atmosphere of a village within a city. In fact, the huge buildings that made up the Saint-Emilion, have been welcoming the funfair since the beginning of the last century.
